AA:Tri Kids

On friday Room 7 and Room 6 went to Tri kids.  We had to swim,bike and run.  Parents came to watch their children.  First was Room 6  .We waited a long time but finally it was Room 7 turn.  Everyone ran choose their bike.It took me a long time to choose.  When I finished choosing I ran to the swimming waterslide.  The rules were we were supposed to be careful because there wasn’t much space.  The man incharge of the swimming told us to slide on our stomach then come back and do it again three times.  The man wet us with cold water from a hose.  The water was so cold I felt like I was in the North pole.  Then he shouted ‘Go!’ we all ran so fast that on my third lap I bumped heads with another boy.  When I finished the man that watered us with the hose came and asked me ‘Are you okay?’.   I said ‘Yes’ and started running to the biking place.  I quickly ran to get my bike and helmet that I chose.  I pushed my bike out of the transition area and then quickly hopped on.  I kept on falling of my bike so the man in charge of the biking came and helped to ride my bike  .Once I finished biking I went to do the running it was easy.  Then when I finished running I went to sit down.I got a Easy peesy drink.  Then we went back to class and changed back into our uniform.  I’ll never forget this day because it was my first Tri kids.

The Dr Ben Carson trip

Yesterday the whole school went to the Ben Carson trip.  Some of the school didn’t go.  We got colors, I was blue.  When we got off the bus I was tired already.  Then we had to sit on the grass for a long time I got a sunburn.  When it was our turn we went inside my face was totally red.  Once we got inside I was so relaxed.  But once we got inside  I noticed we were sitting on chairs that were on the floor while the other classes were sitting on chairs that were higher.  I got bored we were waiting for a long time.  Suddenly I heard it was the Duffy song I really love that song so i sang along and everyone else sang along as well.  When we finished singing a man came up and told us some funny stories about his past.  Once he finished talking he introduced us to a man called Dr Ben Carson.  He told us some stories about his past too but his stories were less funny and more scarier. I got tired so sat back and relaxed and before i knew it most of the other schools started having a nap.  Then I think Dr Ben Carson saw and started to make his story shorter.   When he stopped talking and the man who introduced us to Dr Ben Carson came and asked him questions.  After he said “bye” in came Duffy came up and started to sing the Duffy song.  Most of the schools started to go.  When we got out we all got an apple and a drink.  I started to eat the apple and save the drink for later.  We all started to get on the bus.  Once we got back to school it was lunch time.  I was so happy to be back at school.  But I have to admit the Dr Ben Carson trip was fun.
