Only four minutes left, and the score was tied 10 to 10. “Get in there, Beckham!” cried Coach Rush. “I'm counting on you to help us win the game.”
I grabbed my lucky Soccer Boots and Ran onto the field. What luck. I got the Ball right away and raced past three opponents. The crowd was Shouting. I kicked the Ball right at the goal. “No,” I missed! The crowd became silent. I spotted Valeria Adams and Wayne Rooney in the stands looking very disappointed.
The other team had the Ball with only two minutes left — that is until I intercepted it! I Dribbled toward the goal and smashed the Ball right into the net. “Goooooal!” screamed the announcer.
The crowd was Cheering wildly. “Hooray for Beckham!Beckham!Beckham!Beckham!
Then my alarm clock woke me up for school.

Duffy Theatre.

On Tuesday 30th of July we were lucky enough to have a Duffy show.

This Duffy show was called Duffy loses his words.

It was really funny we all enjoyed it is about Duffy losing his words in his sleep. He 

dreams about a person called Professor Word Sharks needs his words back so Duffy can still read to his little brother Scruffy. Then Duffy got a message from Professor Word Sharks but since he couldn't read his friend Afi read it for him. The message said the  Professor Word Sharks was challenging him to a word game. In the end Duffy got his words back.

My voice was loud and clear but too fast.

I stood still and relaxed

The hardest part of speeches was to say it slowly.

I am proud of my eye contact.

Next time I will try to slow down.

1840 Topic Research.   

1. The first schools were unevenly distributed, and attendance was not needed.

 2.Some scholarships were offered to some children, but mostly children from well known families made it to secondary school.

 3.There were less secondary schools than first schools.

4.The secondary schools had fees that you had to pay.

5.There were more boys that got to go to secondary schools than girls

• NO DOWNLOADING MUSIC OR GAMES (your parents will be contacted and your netbook removed)

The author Des Hunt came to visit us today.He used chemistry and physics to show us how to make it fun.He also showed us some amazing science tricks and talked to us about what he wanted to be when he grows up.I learnt that you have to make your story interesting.

Today I saw two Advertisements to Burgers. I learnt the tricks they used to make a Burger look delicious on TV. I don't want to eat those kinds of Burgers anymore because there a lots of disgusting things in it.
